About The Founder

Meg: Hello! My name is Meg, and I am an American fencer and the founder of The Athlete Narrative. As an athlete, I have both experienced and witnessed body shaming within the sports world. While body-shaming is addressed in the media, it is important to critically analyze it from the perspective of athletes as well. This is the reason why I created The Athlete Narrative: to create a safe platform for athletes and anybody who partakes in physical activity to be reminded of their worth and the value of their hard work. I encourage all to use this platform as a form of daily encouragement; remember, your confidence and your goals are all directed by you. Welcome to The Athlete Narrative!
